Tuner Question...(I know I'm pathetic)

Hey...I just got my first Chromatic Tuner to tune my uke and I wondered what the Hz needs to be said at...right now I have it at 450 but I just hope it's right. Thanks for the help.

i set my guitar tuner to 440 i think thats what your suposed to use, i dont know, it was the dafault setting when i got it...

scientifictly it's 440. What I do, though, sometimes if you are playing with a recording that is slightly out of tune, or with someone else who can't retune, you change the hz to tune with them.

440 it's the number of vibrations the string makes per second.
