powertabs program question

Unread post by nate » Fri Nov 12, 2004 1:50 am

Is there any way to slow down the tempo of the playback like there is in Guitar Pro? like make it play back at half speed so that it's easier to play along with at first until you learn the chords and things. Any help is much appreciated.

Not that I know of, but you can loop a section over and over in order to get it down.

you should get "transcibe!" (http://www.download.com/Transcribe-for- ... ag=lst-0-1). it can play mp3's slower or faster, and it can change the pitch. this came in handy for me lately because i'm learning a lot of elliot smith songs, and he plays his songs in a tuning thats a whole step down. but i guess playing with midis has its advantages too.
