can anyone play and sing "stellar" at the same tim

This is the place to talk about guitar playing not done by Dave! Topics about techniques, styles, theory, and other guitarists go here.

yes. Not too too difficult. Its just that little diddy at the end of the intro/verse part that may be tough.

Brandon sings and either plays guitar (only a few songs) but usually plays percussion (congas and the Djembie). I couldnt tell you what he is playing, I have a horrible ear.

Yes, but on a new song of theirs (unreleased) "Pantomime" Brandon Boyd, the lead singer, plays guitar. That song is on the cd that comes with the Alive at Red Rocks DVD.

EDIT: Also, I used to have a video clip of Einziger playing Stellar on an acoustic and he said it's real hard for him to do those bends in the intro/verse. I'm pretty sure he has his neck at a certain tension or something, I can't remember what he said. But I'm pretty sure he uses pretty thin strings when he plays that acoustic.

at the begining, he says "Whenever I try to play guitar I always mess up...but it is SO much fun"

Yeah, in the Live in Japan 2004 CD, he says "I'm so nervous" before they start playing it.

it would be pretty hard to do that, considering that the drums dont accent the 2nd and 4th beat. and the gutiar has a very synocpated rhythm, which makes singing at the same tiem difficult

Can any of you guys play and sing Pardon Me acoustic??... I've been working on it lately, it's coming along quite well. It's a real fun song.

This one is pretty good...

Incubus - Stellar (Acoustic)

I tabbed this directly from the acoustic version recording. I included every
