Do u always count timing out?

I mean...when u r playing...do u count timing out or u just play? (thinking about Sugar Will...)
And when u r singing while playing?
I usually dont count out...

i just play, i go as it feels right, and its dead on. i guess i subconsiously count, but not to my knowlege.

yeah i definately dont count, could be subconconseousouecleiclly or however you spell that damn word.

I just go by ear. I just hear the music, and feel where it's going. That's how I do any art. Just turn on the faucet, direct the hose, and use the water however I use it.

I just play. I like tot hink that I have a good enough understanding of time signatures and rythms that I get from drum rudiments. Very rarley do I have to count something out to figure it out. However, if Im in my car and I hear in odd time signature, or a song with rests in it...I feel compelled to count them out.

Yeah, see I have never had any musical instruction of any kind until a very beginner guitar course. I have really benefited from simple exercises we have down, especially counting. I used to be like Ranting, but now I try to count as often as I can. I usually don't with Dave songs except harder ones like the Stone.
