Picks...

Unread post by Kukini » Fri Sep 03, 2004 1:07 am

What kind do you use?

Me, I use what Dave does, and by far the best pick I've ever used.

Dunlop Tortex .60 mm Orange.

Sorry man, but do a search. There's been at least 5 pick threads.

And I use tortex reds. :wink:

same, but i use the .6mm. those kick ass, never break, but still have like the great sound and quality of the tortex... i got bored tried to break one, got a pair of pliers, took a few minutes, but i finaly broke one, it was pretty damn hard though.

blue tortex

fingers sound like shit IMO unless it's on bass...bass, it gives it a nice fat tone, and guitar, its almost transparent to me.

I just turn up the higher freqs to give it some more attack.

A pick = ONE pick
Fingers = FIVE picks

The advantage is quite obvious.

I play fingerstyle about 80% of the time currently, but I don't play with much nail.

My favorite picks are blue Dunlop tortex's. 1 MM, I think they are.
