Best Pure Acoustic 1 Guitar Song.

Unread post by Oahu » Sun Aug 22, 2004 1:25 pm

This probably has been done before, so if anyone knows the link, that'd be great, but the new opinions would also be welcome.

What do you think is the best song to play all by yourself, no vocals, pure acoustic, unplugged?

Jimi thing or Hendrix's little wing.

Both sound cool (when done right) acoustic.

I like to jam out on either Doobie Thing or Kit Kat Jam.

Stevie Ray Vaughan's Little Wing....by far.

Almost anything by Doc Watson. Its tough to find solo stuff by him though, he normally plays with a few different people.

Bluegrass rocks.

I can't get the tuning right on that one. Do you have to restring a guitar to do it?

Another one I just thought of that I love doing is Manhattan Bridge by Blues Traveler, also sometimes at open mics I like to do a version of Call Of Ktulu by Metallica on acoustic.
