when you friend picks up your guitar, messes with the tuning, then either doesn't tune it back, or tries to and it's off a bit?

Somone knocked my guitar on the floor and didn't apologize. Needless to say i wanted to hit him.

I don't like when anyone touches my guitar without asking. Or if they pick it up and start playing and say, "Do you care if I play your guitar?"

im a lefty so not too many folks mess w/ my axes. if they do, its not for long. i like it.

but my bro's wife knocked one over one time. i played it all nice but damn, it hurt me deep down.

i always manage to find stuff to bang my guitar on anyway, i probably do more damage than ppl who dont know how to play it...but i hate when people think its funny to act like they know what they're doing and make horrible noises with it

My first and only guitar has been banged up a good amount over the years so I'm not too worried if it takes another hit. When I invest in a pro level guitar I will be a Nazi about it.

I hate this shit too. People just pick it up and strum the strings as hard as they can and they think its cute or funny....WELL I AIN'T LAUGHING!... :lol:

I(eventually found out who it was) came home one night, i lived with three other guys and a girl :wink:

and we partied often. Oh, anyways i came home from work to a party going on and i went into my room and found my old(don't own it anymore) Seagul 12-string on the ground with some guys initials scratched into it with car keys, just above the sound-hole. I freaked out. Unfortunetely everyone thought i was wasted or on crack or something so i didn't find out who it was until about four days later. It turned out to be the guy that lived in our pool-house and after stealing his flying squirrel and spider-monkey(he was an animal collector) from his place did he finally apolojize "and" give me a bag of weed :lol:

You should have givven the flying squirrel a little sodium pentathol and got him to talk about his owner, I'm sure you could have gotten some more "information" about the dude living in your poolhouse. Mwahaha. I don't think it is illegal to torture a squirrel that flies.

i understand the uptightness about denting scratching, and even makin the guitar go out of tune, im like that myself...but you seem a little too uptight about people who dont know how to play just making noises...i mean, relax...they dont have a guitar they just want to have some fun...no harm done to you(unless i missed something)
