3 little birds help

hey everyone.
me and my friend recently started playing this great little song at campfires and such, but i was wondering if anyone had a good sounded tab for the lead part.
for example, for the chorus part ive been playing this in between the A chords

it somewhat sounds right, but it just seems a little off. any help would be great, thanks in advance
