Watch Tower Duo

Unread post by busted stuff » Tue Jan 28, 2003 3:03 pm

Hey-
I've been working on an acoustic duo of watchtower with my friend. He signs and strums and I basically play lead. I was wondering if anybody had Ideas on what to play for lead. I've tried doubling my friend on the strum and it sounds pretty plain. I've also tried playing Stefans part which sounds alright. But basically I just jam around in C major. Any help or thoughts would really help me out.
Sonmetimes I would try to catch her, but I never even caught her name.....

Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

Yeah, ok. I do paly in Am.
Just from my back ground, I'm used to thinking of pitch classes, or collection of notes. C Major and A minor, belong to the same pitch class.....

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

you can always play along with him until you get to a certain point where hell play softer and you can try to put in a solo
