Many of the tabs were made by watching the Unplugged show. I play stuff like So Impossible, Hands Down, Remember To Breathe, Swiss Army Romance, etc. in standard. Which is how he plays them.

On the other hand, stuff like Screaming Infidelities, Living In Your Letters, Turpentine Chaser, For You To Notice, etc. are played in altered tunings.

While I can't stand Dashboard and most Emo in general, I must disagree with the fact that it's the worst genre ever and that all Emo bands suck.

FOR THERE IS ONE, AND SPECIFICALLY ONE GOLDEN ALBUM!!!!

Band: Sunny Day Real Estate
Album: Rising Tide

SDR's lead singer doesn't scream, he actually does a lot of headvoice stuff, and it's awesome against the grinding guitars. I like that album a lot. SDR is good emo.

And I disagree completely that screaming is a great way to express passion, at least in terms of the way screaming is used now, by bands like Slipknot. Screaming conveys a lack of eloquence more than a wealth of passion. There is no screaming that is more communicative than a skillfully crafted, sensitively sung melody.

(Remember, I'm referring to screaming like it's used presently: I believe that an occasional yell can be used to punctuate what is being said, but the proper occasion arises oh so seldomly, and it is easily abused.)

Dash rules, there arent many who can wail like him so why not? i think his voice is amazing, going to see him this sunday in seattle. And i think the last 30 seconds of hands down is the best 30 seconds of any dash song, he is no Dave Matts but hes got my vote

well, the assessment that screamers do not have good voices is sorely mistaken. Listen to the song Bother by Stonesour. Beautiful, huh? Well sung? Well it's the same guy that sings for Slipknot. And just saying, he does not scream all the time. Try listening to Wait and Bleed or Left Behind.
And in the end, the things we do are just the things we've done -- Corey Taylor, Stonesour
