yeah, that version is amazing. i love flamenco guitar.

i've seen alot of great choices...some of my favorites: STP - Creep, Plush...those Incubus acoustics are awesome...LAYLA! of course...Everlong is excellent.

As great as all of these are, I'm gonna have to go with Monte Montgomery's cover of Little Wing. Even though you'd never guess he was playing it on an acoustic.

P.S. - if anyone is into flamenco guitar work...look up Del Castillo out of Austin, TX. The 2 brothers who play guitar for them are in-fucking-credible.

fuel's lead singer did a cover of daniel by elton john that is really good

there are a couple really good versions of rain king by the counting crows

STP's interstate love song

SRV! pride and joy

and monte montgomery's acoustic little wing is unbelivable

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

That is my favorite Weezer song and a half.
Yes, Everlong and Layla would have to be my top two choices.

i totally forgot about CC. i love acoustic songs of Mr jones, rain king, and angels of the silences. angels of the silences acoustic is my favorite counting crows song.

does anybody else enjoy acoustic versions of songs over electric versions almost all the time?
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

I actually did an accoustic version of Rain King at a coffee house show in the winter. It went quite well I think.

Either Sleeping Beauty or Three Libras by A Perfect Circle.

I have acoustic versions of these songs and it sounds truly awesome. These guys are good. Always liked 'em. Don't think they get enough credit...
