berklee in boston is the rich kids music school...anyone can go there so long as you have the money. 40 grand a year unless they give you scholarships after they place you...it's not exactly well looked upon in the higher-music-learning crowd either...but you've got a heck of a lot better shot making it after going there then just trying to do something out of nowhere. and making it as a studio musician really isn't that hard. guitarists who can read are in fairly high demand. being a pro-musician more often than not isn't about writing and performing your songs...fatjack wrote:he spelled it right dude, there are TWO different colleges. My real vision for the future is to finish my time here in college and work computer systems for some company (yes, I am a huge computer nerd) and then play solo or in a band in my free time.
