When I was at guitar center on Saturday, I played a Martin DX1 and a Martin D-15. I liked the look of the DX1 (the way the grain ran down the neck and spread out, and I am not a big fan of mahogany. They didn't play too well for the price. The D-15 sounded like the wood was too thin, and the DX1 was ok, but for $700, I would rather get something better than how that sounded. It was just not a rich enough tone for the price.
