i have a vid of her performance, but it's an .mpg and it's 40 megs, so if anyone has the patience to wait, i can send it.
but i like kaki over justin...from what i've heard of the two, kaki has a greater sense of melody and composition, but i'm not really proficient enough to make any decent commentary when it comes to that.

Wow I'm surprised that Justin King is known on this board, I used to travel to Eugene with my friends a year or so ago, just to see him. What a trip to see such an amazing guitarist in an intimate little coffee shop. He had this hand drummer accompany him who would say incredibly random things throughout the show (ex. "I like sparkles!").
Justin has some very good songs that he sings too. One that has always been stuck in my head that was untitled at the time had a chorus of "She had a tattoo of lillies", if you ever get to hear it. It's a beautiful song. His lyrics and singing are very emotional, yes, but honest and original.
He also played some kind of Scottish jig, and if you got up and danced a jig in front of everyone he gave you a free copy of one of his cds.
Oh, one more thing I remember about his show. He had this peice of equipment that would record and loop parts he played, operated with a foot pedal, and he would create incredibly complex choruses of his guitar that worked perfectly together. I don't know what that equipment is called, Justin didn't either (he called it a "boogerbox" because it was green). I saw a solo acoustic performance by Tim Reynolds where he did the same thing. That concert by Tim was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
Anyway, I'm glad Justin's name is starting to become known. Thanks for the responses.
