Cheap methods to record practice sessions

True if its only for practice and it doesn't need anything fancy , then why spend so much money on it ? Cor's suggestion is actually not stupid even though it may sound like a plain solution

There are some good programs that you can get online to record music, CoolEdit is good, and free acording to that other post...also if you get a USB interface there will usually be software included, too. The Tascam series has Cubase included. It is amazing, while it can be foudn on the net...its a better idea to jsut buy it.

Well alot of people just use the windows recorder , and some people buy more expensive software , its a matter whether or not you're willing to pay for it i guess
