he plays it in drop d. i read in an interview in guitar world, i dont think he would lie.

i forgot about 'harvest moon' by neil...you can play it in standard, but on the record he hits the open d so hard it almost buzzes and you don't get that if you play it standard and fret the 10 with your thumb

there's a song in drop d that doesn't 'use it'....if you hit the bass and it's in drop..then you're using it....you need to play wonderland in a different key or stretch like a bastard if it's not dropped, and you lose the jam in crush if it's not dropped....i guess maybe i still don't get it

lol, i knew this would be hard to explain.

aha! i got it. a song where the low d is droning. ie bartender, everlong, ddtw, my recording of loving wings.....

and you dont lose the jam in crush if you play it in standard.

i was there for one, they hammered like whoa...dave even stops to tune up after and says 'it takes me a while to tune this thing cause i'm *aghem* stupid'...you made me waste 400!! blast you!

yea, i'm not talking about the middle jam losing anything, but the ending jam, which D&T always do(well from what i hear) would be physicly impossible.. cause of the 0h2 :) :)
