i remember seeing that a while back... i dont think id ever buy it... theres certain stuff i just dont want on a guitar..

It's sad how that could have been a really cool guiar. It will just sit in some rich persons collection and never get played. What a waste of wood.
I want a koa guitar but I would feel guilty cause it's in such short supply.

MWR dont worry, theres several crops in hawaii that are being grown and are not allowed to be touched until trees are in stable condition, and if im not mistaken theres another crop that was found a while back that had a lot of trees.

yep, the martin guitar guy stuck it in my hands after I told him I had an HD-35, I played it for about two minutes, then had an epiphany...the guitar is worth as much as my house...I then quickly handed it back to him. But later I went back when no one was around it really and spent about five minutes with it in solitude...was kinda fun...my HD-35 still sounds better...

What is the logic in making a guitar like that? Really I want to know. That is a waste of my eyes to look at something that ridiculous, not to mention my disgust at the price.

but you guys, it prolly sounds at least 10 times (or 20) better than any other guitar. thats why it cost so much. duh. just think about it.

martins are sweet and all, but i really think they suck at cosmetics. taylor owns them with inlays and such.

i dislike inlays in the first place, so i have to say that it's one of the ugliest guitars i've ever laid eyes on. i bet it plays nice, but not 45,000 $ nice. NOTHING plays 45 grand nice...
