wrong, wrong, wrong.

You pick up the first note in a song, with theory, you unlock the ENTIRE song. ( from chord changes to solos )

in fact, theory is a building block to playing SOLELY by ear. because with theory when you hear one thing you can immediately start ruling out other alternatives and from there you know EXACTLY where your spots are

if your ear is so good, then can't you hear that the DMB tab books you hold in the highest reference are completely wrong? and why don't you just pull them out by ear, who needs tab books?

I highly second that with the exception of theory...theory will develop you more as a musician I believe (i.e. TIM REYNOLDS)

yeah....completely wrong, that's funny becuase the #41 i played which everyone was ranting and raving about, AS WELL as the RHYME AND REASON were both from the tab books.........yet no one commented how they sounded "completely wrong"

i think you've been a little butthurt lately (i saw how you got all upset because Jkanter did a little trash talk) and just wanna take out your little aggression somewhere. well do it somehwere else, because you're certainly not gonna win the argument here

ha, hardly upset, just trying to level the playing field...and well, if you were trying to play Rhyme and Reason just as Dave does, you played it wrong, I have ears and eyes that tell me that...I think you better get yours ears checked if you think the last few notes you play are right.
