As for what someone else asked....it's not played with a capo. John has said before in interviews that Tab books get the songs wrong a lot

yeah the accoustic version uses a capo because john fruciante plays that song high up on the neck, making it nearly impossible to play on an accoustic. And I'll send it out in an email tonight and post it here for anyone who didn't leave their email address...just because I'm such a nice guy

That's wrong...the first chord is essentially the same thing....but it's a barre chord starting on the 7th fret of the A string(read E....not Em)crash_in_to_me wrote:tha tab i got off somewhere on the internet has a barre chord on the 12th fret at the begining of the ummm... verse i think
