Edit: just searched for the custom TRC, and found the nicholsguitars site.
Edit 2: and then read that he doesn't make them anymore. ah well.

I won't deny a Tylor's looks, but they've never stuckout to me. CF Martins on the other hand.

my trey:

she's a beauty. in terms of aesthetics, its a gem for a martin. i think taylors sound like shit but some of the limiteds and PS's ive seen are absolute works of art. bob taylor does wonders w/ cocobolo and koa

I'm a big fan of my Tay 814 for an acoustic, and i think i'm in love with the looks of Trey's custom electric...that thing is SWEET. It's vintage looking, yet modern, the way he has his volume and tone knobs makes WAY more sense than most guitars, and it's koa

Edit: and it has the same geometry as a Fender strat, which i love

Edit again: turns out since phish broke up, Paul Languedoc (who made Trey's guitars) has been hand making replicas of trey's current guitar and selling them for $10,000 :shock:

I want one.
