Grock, just read the other thread, great explanation. I've never heard it defined that well. My old guitar techer is a physics major and had explained this about 5 years back. Good info.

I tried tuning like that a little while ago and it is deffinatley better. The needle didnt jump around at all and it was much more accurate, thanks guys.
