I just fell in love with my Martin smell, look, touch and sound. Only taste is not overwhelmed! :D

My grandma passed away last month and she left me 5000 dollars. She would love for me to use it to get a guitar..so now that this one is busted I am going to get a DC-RGTE Aura or a D-28...thinkin about a genz benz amp too. Kinda pumped about getting the money, may my grandma rest in peace. Wont get it probably till end of may, still very upset about my Washburn.

Used some strong glue, but didn't try to string it yet. I don't know if it'll hold up under the pressure.

You should get a custom piece for your guitar with her initials.

When I was @ the Guitar store yesterday getting mine looked at...I played an HD-28 for like an hour. I am in love with those....it plays out of the box like an 15 year old D-28. Could I get her initials engraved on the head stock or what? How could I put them on the guitar and where so it looks nice?

I don't think the Martins have it, but some have truss rod covers.

I believe you can send a guitar to Bill Nichols at http://www.nicholsguitars.com and he will engrave something into the headstock for you. If you look at this guys guitar:

http://jimtozier.tripod.com/JT/mahogany.html

Look at the picture part way down where it shows the back of the headstock (and you see his sig engraved into it). I am pretty sure that Bill Nichols did that for him.
