Ok NOT ORDER OF SHARPS AND FLATS!!!! Ive gotton to the point now where i can write out the circle of fifths, but my main problem is knowing right off the top of my head that say G has one sharp, F has one flat, etc. I know some, but It would make my life much easier to know them all.

Thanks for the help you guys tried to give me, but key signitures is my problem, not order. If i know one has so many sharps, thats all i need to know. Just write it in order from there. I know tricks if I am given the key signiture on a staff, but knowing it without having a staff in front of me would be great!

By the way, I learned it as Fat Cats Go Down Alleys Eating Birds.

something kind of cool my guitar teach taught me.

To internalize the keys and their flats/sharps, we would associate a ryhthym with each key. let's take F.

"F, G, A, B flat, C, D, E, F"

And while saying those aloud, we'd clap out the rythym of the words we were saying. Imagine any natural note being a quater note and any sharp/flat note being two 8th notes.

I don't know if you get what I'm saying, but it kinda helped me out in the fact that I can associate certain ryhthms with certain keys.

That seems kind of cool. I'll have to try that.
