i get so wrapped up in playing in front of people. have any of you seen eric clapton unplugged when he's sitting down and his foot is going crazy tapping. that's what happens to me, i start out just kinda keeping beat w/ it and end up dancing a little i my chair. i freaking love live.

i think im more stage, if i do cover, i dont have to do it the exact way the artist does, i also like to leave it open and let things happen. its too tedious to just play a song the exact same way every time.

For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

What is this term "guitarist" you speak of. I merely hit strings and occasionally cool shit comes out.

Seriously though, the best session guys in the world might be your personal jesus with overdubs and perfect timing in studio, but nobody wants to pay money to see some introvert on stage with headphones on that's for sure. It's a double-edged sword. (Unless you are of course a total guitar geek and paid money to go see the Big Three, Beck, Stariani, Vai...which is cool, just not my thing"

exactly, if im recording something like just me to actually record it to have a copy to hear that needs to be good its tough i stop soo much and start over, but like in a jamming situation if its recorded that doesnt bother me, i guess cause it doesnt have to be exact.
