You know, i have def. noticed the amount of burns on new dmbtabs members lately. Some of them "do" deserve it but most of them are just "new".
Just cause you've been here for over a year, or you have over 3 million posts doesn't mean you can un-load on someone just cause your a "regular" or "authority(':shock:')
And i know some of you are gonnna look up all his "stupid" posts and try and prove your point, my point is, give new members a chance to cruise the site and learn how it works. I mean, a small majority of you visit this site just to make "new" members look like ass-holes. Don't you think discussing DMB or specified topics is better to focus on then "Burning on newbs" on a Dmb web site?
Either agree with me or .......burn away!!

The thing that use to set this place apart was how helpful and kind everyone was to new people.

i think its a little bit from both parties. the regulars go off on these guys for no reason...and the new guys don't expect it, so they get really offended.

there should be a disclaimer or something..."if you're new, get ready. you may be flamed every now and then for no reason." :lol:

or we could just stop flaming....either way.

It's not really for no reason. When it's difficult to make it through one sentence of a post, and when the person is asked to speak more clearly, they get defensive and accusatory (not sure if it was in this thread, it's happened several times) instead of helping us to help them, then screw it. I have no desire to help someone that won't spend that extra 30 seconds just to make their question or post presentable.

With reference to this particular poster, it most DEFINITELY did not start out as flaming, it only progressed to that point when all he did was insult everyone else who was trying to help him by pointing out ways to get more answers.
