Singing Volume
Watchtower is loud when banging open chords... but yea, I can sing over it.Grandpagotgame wrote:Even when you fully strum everything?Kukini wrote:Most likely. But that shouldn't matter, if you're playing unplugged, you should sound louder than the guitar at the appropriate times.Grandpagotgame wrote:I am trying to learn to do that. I have no problem with playing and singing at the same time. I've played drums for four years so I have no problems when a bunch of stuff goes on at the same time. But are the voice mics turned up more than the guitar mics?

I'm not a great singer by any means, but I have noticed I have gotten more compliments from people when I sing from my gut and project clearly and loudly. I have a tendency to tongue kiss the fucking mic but proper projection helps a lot.

Do you do a lot of open mic nights or gigs or anything?c_tietze wrote:I'm not a great singer by any means, but I have noticed I have gotten more compliments from people when I sing from my gut and project clearly and loudly.
