Trace Bundy is not the master of acoustic tapping.


You do not get any better than Michael Hedges. He is the father.
i have audio of mr hedges playing watchtower and nothing else, can you get me some of his stuff i really want to hear it.

He doesn't even tap on Watchtower. And I can't send the stuff I have to you, because I got it from iTunes, and it's protected. Get the Beyond Boundaries: Guitar Solos. It's amazing.

oh i know its just ivenever listened to hedges much hard to find his stuff illegally and too hard to get it legally. ummm yeah

Trace Bundy

Hey Will, that's awesome you are a Trace Bundy fan. I got to see him live a while back and it was an incredible show. His online videos, as cool as they are, don't really even do him justice for the kind of shows he is doing now. I have his CD/DVD combo and it is excellent. The DVD is really good but I think the CD itself is my favorite. Highly recommended.

He's definitely not the best tapper out there, and I doubt that it is even his goal, but he is very well rounded and probably one of the best acoustic guitarists that I've seen, according to my tastes. I've seen Kaki King and Tim Reynolds live too and I would say that Trace's show was my favorite.

I wish I could've seen Micheal Hedges live. He really was the father of the percussive and tappy stuff. I have Aerial Boundries which is pretty good.
