I think its sad too because his talents aren't publicly recognized. But it would seem to me that he'd rather have it that way. I also think its kinda cool that he didn't just bow down to the man and sell out like most other artists do.

Well, the only reason that King's record isnt on any cd store is because it is sold via an independent record label, namely his own. Plus, I highly doubt that CD's like Le Bleu would be recognized as brilliant to the Britney Spears-adoring mass public.
Oh and I have Le Bleu ... its amazing, I recommend it to anyone. 19 tracks of pure nasty guitar work, and its so diverse as well. Phunkdified (the Larivee video) isnt nearly his best work on this album.

I knew that already, I was just wondering if anyone had done it?
Oh, and why is that sad? I'm just curiouse.
its sad because such talent is not publically recognized. I expect this to be on the shelf of every cd store.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking. Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away. Forget about the guilty, we are innocent instead, for soon we shall all find our lives swept away.

Isn't that exactly what "Change" is meant to do? I don't know what spell you guys are under but that song sucks and exists a)for him to feel like a rock star and b) to make more money.

its not "change" that really brings his talent. I dont think the song is great but his instrumental work is awesome.

I agree..change isn't nearly one of his best songs.. I just like the style it has to it, and was hoping there would be a tab to it

keystone wrote:Are there any tabs out there of his..If there is only that one, where can I find it?..Also I have another question, Listening to Stuff like Justin King and Keller and others that have such a crazy style has made me (and probably everyone else) want to learn how to play that way..Now obviously they are just fucking brilliant and I am not saying I could play this shit, but I was curious as to even how to start. For example how to start learning techniques like that stuff with the slapping and other shit..Obviously I am trying to go from point A to Z, but figuring out how to get to point b would be a good start. Any help would be greatly appreciated and also if you haven't checked out Justin King, do yourself a favor....its some good shit
Justin uses a lot of thecniques commonly used in Flamenco playing. I guess learning how to play Flamenco would be a great to start. I recommend you guys to listen to this album by
John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... c&n=507846
Also, if you want to listen to some of the best flamenco guitar players get anything from Paco de Lucia, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, or pepe habichuela.
Saludos
P.
