Oh I think that we all see how well it is going. I am taking music theory next semester @ college, and I am glad that I tried playing guitar cuz my friends who know theory help me out. I understand a lot more than I ever have. But try to get guitar pro.

 The important thing is to be honest with yourself...we all suck equally in the shadow of Fatjack or anyone else who has half an idea. But look on the brite side, we still have time to learn....

I know I suck, moreso than most of the people out there. Just screwing around. I wish I could catch a decent lesson around here.

The best suggestions that I have are these:

take music theory sometime soon

and

Play with ppl who know what they are doing.

Other than that, just try to find patterns. Basic theory isn't that difficult. It is actually very repetitive. There is just so much to learn.

I am taking theory next year at college but that doesn't seem like its every going to get here. I wish I could find people who know what they're doing.

True dat. I've learned more playing in a band than I ever have form books and the internet.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
