Best Guitar Teaching Software

Unread post by dlantis » Wed Jan 22, 2003 11:51 pm

I've just started learning how to play electric. I have a lot of previous music experiance (trumpet, clarinet, sax) so reading music isn't new to me. I'm planning on teaching myself but was wondering what people think is the best "Teach yourself guitar" software. I've found 3 packages

Alfred's Teach yourself guitar - included with my guitar from musiciansfriend

Guitar Coach

Emedia Beginner Guitar Method 1

I'm looking to purchase one of the last 2 but not sure which one is better, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
dlantis

Im not familiar with any of those....not familiar with many programs at all, but I've seen and downloaded Guitar Pro and its pretty cool. It has a lot of files that you can impliment into the program. You have to check it out to find out more about it.

...Excuse me please one more drink
Could make it strong cause I don't need to think
