do you mean "better" as in a more skilled guitar player, or "better" as in better music?

i've seen several video from each of them, but i can't say which one is "better" (whichever you mean)

I've listened to a lot of their stuff. I think Andy McKee is far and away the best composer on the label, so couple that with his playing skills and he's my favorite.

Edit: But Erik Mongrain is really good too.

yah, in my opinion andy mckee is better in the music, i like more the tunes. But in technique Don Ross and Antoine Dufour are masters. Trace Bundy is really good too. i find that eric mongrain has good technique but i dont like his music 2 much.

the only eric mongrain song i've heard that i really like is the "airtap" song (i think that's what it was called). of all of those i have heard the least from him though.

Don Ross destroys all of them in technique... I think that goes without saying.

As far as best music goes, I've not listened to as much DR as I could, but out of the newer guys, I vote for Andy McKee. Dufour I flat out don't like. His music is boring to me, nothing unique or grabbing about it.

McKee has such an awesome concept of melody. So many of his songs get stuck in my head because of how fluent and perfectly constructed they are. Stuff like Rylynn and For My Father are just amazing. He also makes it seem just so effortless.

Talent + feel = better music

I just saw Andy McKee on the Woodsongs radio show last night here in town. It was truly awesome. If anyone's interested:

Also, Bill Miller was really good too.

Try around 20-25 minutes in. That's the best of my recollection.
