I am one of those assholes who are:
a Percussive, and Rhythmic guitarist who is also a bluesy lead barre chord, jazz player with his fingerstyle thrown in there somewhere... including the beginer's power chords with those funky slides.
but then again who isn't a hybrid of em'?

Aw man I wish, I make up song...then I forget it. No one around the Bronx, really plays my style, and the one's that do, well we somehow never get a full demo together.
I personal have some records, but the playing is so raw, and shitty, I wouldn't listen to them twice.
Hopefully in the future I'll have something...

Yes Bronx as in:
http://bronxunderground.com/
The Bronx Underground. Punk rock, hardcore, Metal, ska...
If there were better sky bands, better mtal bands, and less hardcore/punk I think I would actually end up going to a show once ina while... Most of the stuff I hear from them is a slice of the pop/mainstream pie. Not saying it's all bad, I just dislike most of it.
In the good sense, it Makes music a challenge, findiong people to play with, find musicians to influence etc. Can be fun...
sometimes.
I really should jump into the music scene in Manhattan, just under an hour away on the "NYC MTA going your way."
haha. yes, I love that quote...
