I was amazed by the whole suicide thing.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead

They are damn good guitars, and If I wrecked one I'd certainly consider slitting my wrists.

Anyway, one of the guitar players had a Taylor (looked like either a 614c or 814c). He had written ALL OVER the top of it with black marker. Some of the stuff he had written were blurred out by the cencors. A few minutes later, he brings his Taylor outside to the parking lot and proceedes to .. .yup ... SMASH THE SHIT OUT OF IT!
it was blink 182. i saw it too, made me sick.

I think that we should vote Dave Matthews as president in the upcoming elections, and the first measure of action that he should take is the banning of violent acts against guitars. We have cared about people too much. Who will think of the guitars?

My Fender acoustic/electric(now acoustic cause i leaned on the chord when playing and it caved in and broke) is the first guitar that "I" personally purchased for learning dmb. I love this guitar, its resting in my arms as we speak. But anyway, i used to live in a house with a lot of other people and people were always up and drunk or making a bon-fire or anything else you could think of. Well i came from work one night and my guitar lay in my room with some guys initials carved in right under the saddle!
I never found out who it was but one of my roomates said that some guy was playing it that he didn't recognize. If there's on thing i can't stand is people using your shit without asking and then carving their initials into it.
I now have a perfectly placed sticker of a frog playing the guitar under a red and white pyshcidelic mushroom

Yeah, one time my buddy and I were playing some music at our old college in front of the student body and when we finished we set our guitars on some stands and went and sat down, 'cause some other people were gonna come up present some stuff. All of the sudden, these presenters strart getting all rowdy and excited and kinda runnin' around the stage. and then "BAMM" this girl just backs over my buddy's guitar and knocks it off the stand.... then she looses her footing again and stomps on his Chet. Everyone on the audience just looks where we're sitting and my friend and I are just speechless. After the whole deal was over we checked the guitar out and it was fine, still in tune and everything. I've decided that Chet's are pretty much indestructible for the amount of wear mine's taken and the the simple act of watching people step on my friend's.

If I remember correctly, there was something wrong with the guitar, affecting the tone, and there was a possibility of it hurting hos wrist. I guess he didn't think about looking into getting it fixed and just smashed it. It was dissapointing but it wasn't like that kind of was never going to be made again, I would only be angry if it were my guitar
