Digitech Effect Pedals???

Unread post by olkskoolpik » Mon Dec 01, 2003 11:59 am

Whats up fellas,
I have been looking at the Digitech RP200 w/ espression pedal, and I am just kind of hesitant about it. All I play is acoustic and I was just wondering if these things were made with only the electric guitar in mind of if i would still get a lot of use out of it with my acoustic. Anybody got any experience with pedals and acoustics or any suggetsions of better products, thanks for the help.
Ben

I use a podxt for both my acoustics and my electrics. It's a little spendy, but so versatile. Awesome effects and amp models. Even the older PODs sound great with acoustics. A lot of times I just run it in bypass mode with my acoustics and use the delays and the various chorus effects and compressors. Very versatile and easy to use. Sounds great. But I've heard good things about the RP unit too.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

you heard of howie day? yea.. he uses effects pedals w/ his shit all of the time, and it sounds good too.. infact, so good.. my roommate went and bought the same pedal howie uses.. and suprisingly, my roommate sounds just like howie (my roomy good at guitar anyway, but w/ the pedal.. its hard telling if his computer is loud or if he is going away at it) thats my 2 cents
