I figure it might be fixable, but probably at a price that is worth more than the guitar itself. It was my first guitar and it was only like $200 and I bought almost 2 years ago. Any ideas how much something like this might cost to fix if it is fixable? I plan on buying a new guitar anyways, but I would like to have it fixed since it was my first guitar. BTW, if your wondering how it got like this...a lot of alcohol was involved. I let one of my buddies play it and after he was done he laid it on my futon and me being blackout drunk didnt notice it there and sat on it.

Looks pretty fucked up...
I don't think it can be fixed by a worthy price. It will probably take some new stuff for the neckboard for it to be perfecty tuned again.
Anyway, wait until someone who really knows about the matter to post something...
Well, good luck on that man!

Yeah, I agree. The entire neck would have to be replaced and reset if it was going to sound decent ever again - I think that crack is too big to be patched effectively. I guess it depends how much sentimental value it has, but it probably isn't worth it from a purely financial standpoint.

It was a Takamine Jasmine...worked great as my first guitar and I'm sad to see it go out like that.

oooo... yea, that was my first guitar too. I could see what you mean. well, you could always keep it and just hang it on a wall or something and when people ask what happened, be like "one night... i jammed the most glorious jam... and this is what happened"
