Satellite(acapella)

Unread post by dmfollower » Wed Nov 12, 2003 1:32 am

So i just downloaded this version of Satellite only its done acapella style(not dave). It sounds really interesting but i'm not sure if its lame or not. Well i decided to play my guitar along with it and it works out perfect and sounds pretty damn cool....
just thought i'd say, its on blazza lite :)

type in "rockapella" as your search. The same outfit does ants, crash, and a whole bunch of songs by other artists. They make you say "wow" a few times, but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. :)

I don't know if anyone's young/old enough to remember the "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" TV show, but they were the band that sang the theme song and would always come out in every show. Not really a band, just a collection of 4 guys singing acapella. Anyways, I love them. I have a version of Say Goodbye that is labeled as "Tufts Beelzebub" (who I've never heard of before) but sounds like Rockapella. Anyone know if it's mislabeled? I'll post it if you want.

If you go to the rockapella website, which I haven't been to in some time, it says on there that Rockapella has NEVER covered Dave Matthews. YOu are hearing some other groups. I recommend "Dukes Men of Yale singing I'll back you up." If that tune dosen't give you chills, I don't know what will.

ROCK ON Bill for remembering Carmen Sandiego. That show was about as worthless but interesting at the same time as anything that's on TV nowadays, including the Miracle Blade infomercials. :)
