I used to have a lot of his stuff...One of my favorites (other than Pink Moon) is Free Ride. That is one of the most interesting and catchy riffs ever. But about Pink moon, I found one that had an intro that sounded likes cars were passing by. That song causes me to go into states of euphoria...it's great.

I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.

from all my research (and I have done quiet alot) he hated doing anything live...I don't know of any live recordings...its a shame...

it is a real shame that he died so early...he was a great musician and seemed like a cool guy :l

hah. yeah, i recommended drake to andy a while ago, and juineaux and i were talking about it later. geez fire, a bit slow on the uptake? ;)

northern sky is one of my all time favorites, too. some magazine called it the greatest love song yet, which i think it ties with Lover, You Should've Come Over for.

he did hate doing things live, he was just nervous and scared about it when he did do it. i think he barely did a handful of shows and none were recorded because he just didn't play that well live.

hate trying to play his songs, though. so many different tunings. ;) other then that, i think he's part of the legacy of great artists appreciated much too late.

I've never even heard of this guy, but he sounds like someone I would really enjoy... Anyhow, I took a look a etree, and found some live stuff:

http://db.etree.org/bs_d.php?artist_key=2850

oooh, at second glance, they're all studio outtakes and home recordings. There may be some stuff there that y'all don't have though? :)

Well Isaac pretty much summed it up. His music is beautiful, deep and full of songwriting talent.

It truely is a shame to have lost him so early, and in such a mysterious manner  He definately was under appreciated, but that is no more...with much thanks going out to Volkswagen.

Probably my favorite artist of all time.

Oh and if any of you other fans out there know where or how to get a copy of the documentary on him - "A skin to feww," LET ME KNOW!!!! I've been trying to find it forever!
