Sweet Home Alabama
Sweet Home Alabama
I know this is a song that pretty much everyone who plays the guitar knows how to play and of course it always impresses your friends and such. I haven't really tried to learn this song but now I do and the only piece in the intro that bothering me in the hammer ons and pull offs in the beginning. Can someone give me any tips on playing this part, as far as fingering and such? If you have a great tab also, you can send it my way. Thanks

I'm assuming you're talking about the part below...
That part was tough for me too when I first learned that tune. What I do, and I'm pretty sure what the guitarist (Ed King, I think) that plays the intro does the hammer-on/pull-off part all with his index finger. Other than that little tip, I would say practice it over and over and over until you have it down.

it doesnt have both guitars and solos on the same tab lines as the regular guitar lives. just look at the tab for those sections you want.coyoteguy wrote:true, but moost of then have two guitars, then the solos added over em, I want just the intro, verses, chorus, ect..
or look for a tab of someone's cover of sweethome alabama and you'll probably get a decent one for just one guitar.
