he was born with ONE vocal chord, thus giving him the constant "smokers voice" - larengitus (sp?) rasp...therefore he can't sing :(

what a shame...however, he makes it all up and then some on the acoustic ;)

The only time I've heard him talk is on PFWYG/storytellers, Dave pretends to forget the intro and tim prompts him.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

download a solo show from etree or even off the timreynolds.com FTP. he talks between songs some.

i was unaware of the one vocal cord thing. i just figured he didnt have a very good voice.
