Where does the strap nut thing go? and how much does it cost to get a pick up installed?

im not sure where it goes on whatever guitar you have, but you can get one installed in like 5 min for like 5 bucks. no problem. a pickup usually costs about 30 bucks to get installed if you don't know someone. plus the cost of the pickup.
