I would say it has to be a joke... but have you seen american idol? have you seen some of those people that truly believe with all their hearts that they can sing?

different, when you sing you don't hear what other people hear till you develope your ear. like when you listen back to a recording of you talk or sing. your voice sounds different to you then it does everyone else. That's how it is with most people at least, and would explain that.
