Israel Kamakawiwo tab
Can anybody tab out Somewere Over the Rainbow by him. I know on the tab websites, they have the chords but laziness is a bad thing to have.

Those are the right chords. D is thrown in there on Rainbow. Capo on 4 if I remember correctly. (it's been a while since I played it.)acusticdude wrote:I play the entire medley using C G Am F (not the correct order), but the order is switched around for the "wonderful world" part. Just play along with the cd (which is a uke by the way) and find the right progression with these chords.
I got this off some board a long time ago. I think it is pretty close. Hope it helps:
Edit: I don't know why the tabs wrap below, but if you highlight, copy and paste them into notepad it views and prints ok....sorry about that I'm just not that literate when it comes to these things

Somewhere over the rainbow (Bruddah Iz)
transcribed by Catherine Gagné
Capo 5th fret
I don't know why i decided to write the rhythym.. it's more confusing than anything else. As you'll
probably notice, sometimes he plays the chords one time instead of two.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you've dreamed of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where
The clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dare to.. why? oh why can't I?
Well I see trees of green
and red roses too
I watch them bloom
for me and you
and I think to myself
What a wonderfull world
Well I see skies of blue
and I see clouds of white
and the brightness of day
I like the dark
and i think to myself
what a wonderfull world
The colors of the rainbow
so pretty in the sky
I also wonder faces
of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands
saying "how do you do?"
they really say "I love you"
I hear babies crying
and I watch them go
they'll learn much more
than we'll know
and I think to myself
what a wonderfull world
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where
The clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dare to.. why? oh why can't I?
You're only as strong as the tables you dance on.
