dude is pretty good. did you see how low the action on that guitar was? he has foil up on the top frets because they are right on the fucking frets

he put that foil there to stop the other side of the string from vibrating when he taps the notes. if they weren't there, then you would have two different pitches sounding (one of which would not be in tune)
