Practice Time

Hi i have been playing for about 5 months and im really getting into it now, what do u guys recomend as an average daily practice time and also what do u recomend working on to get the most out of that time practicing and to also get as good as possible as fast as possible. Thanks!

Practice as much and as often as you can. If you have any free time pick up your guitar. And as far as what to practice Id learn chords(open, power, barre) and scales. There are many websites where you can find these, just google it. Also, just try to learn whatever songs you like to listen to.

I practice 1-2 hours a day, though I play/noodle around much longer than that usually. However, I always try to get that practice time in each day, usually in 20-30 minute chunks.

If you're serious about improving at guitar, I'd recommend Modern Method for Guitar by William Leavitt. This is an intense and extremely beneficial approach to learning the guitar.
