guitar strap question
I have an epiphone chet atkins (which i love by the way) I want to put a stap on it, but it only has one post on it. My question is where would a good place to put another strap post be?
We should route them over Lake Michigan, avoid killing innocent people.

There are three things you can do.
1. Take a piece of string and tie the one end to the head of the guitar, right above the nut under the strings.
2. Buy a special strap and do as instructed above.
3. Buy a strap button, and either drill a hole on the under side of the lower neck (where it connects to the body), and screw it in. Or take it to a luthier and pay to have them do it.

if u dont really have an idea of what to do, id reccomend bringing to some place and doing it, liek gutiar center or a local music shop. They usually will do it right there infront of you and it wont cost that much. If you try it yourself you run a huge risk of cracking the neck and stuff which would absolutely suck.
thats my two cents

You don't run that much of a risk unless you pick the wrong drill bit, or don't know how to use a screw driver.dmbDMBdmb wrote:if u dont really have an idea of what to do, id reccomend bringing to some place and doing it, liek gutiar center or a local music shop.
