Helpful Musical Resources Thread

Unread post by GSR » Sun Oct 05, 2003 3:57 pm

hey do. i was wondering if any of you could recommend some really good resources that help to improve your playing on an instrument, be it software, books, theory, ear training, whatever. i've seen this software program in guitar mags called perfect pitch that claims it can teach you how to recognize notes and play by ear...apparently with a 98% success rate. what's your guyses opinions on these type of things? http://www.hitsquad.com is a pretty interesting site that offers all kinds of software like that that you can download, everybody let everybody else know if you find one that really works for you!

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": You're a hooker? Jesus, I forgot! I just thought I was doing GREAT with you!

see if you can download one from blazaa, i wouldn't pay for something like that.

and as an advertising student i'll let you know, "98% success rate" means nothing. That's just a number they put on it to sound more appealing. Don't pay for something like that.
