I believe they are every night for the next 6 nights at 9 central, then again at 10:30. I'm sure they'll have reruns sometime in case you missed tonights episode. Check pbs.org.

Tonights film was directed by Scorsese and was the history of the Delta Blues, Son House, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker. God it was sweet!

I don't know exactly what the particular subject is tomorrow, but every film is directed by someone different.

If by Scorsese you mean Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas) then yeah, he kicks some major ass

The very same. Hes a music lover. He directed The Last Waltz, if you've seen that.

I watched last night, and I'm watching tonight, man this is some amazing stuff. TOnight's was directed by Wim Wenders and is about Skip James, BLins Willie Johnson, and J.B. Lenoire. Wenders' favorite blue musicians. Skip James was a big influence on Jimmy Page (he introduced Page to the DADGAD tuning), Blind Willie Johnson was blind and taught himself to play the guitar, and J.B. Lenoire was one of the best blues men ever, and would have gone on to even greater things had his life not been cut short.

This whole week long series is just amazing.

bizump to the tizzop.

People need to know about this series. If you aren't interested in the blues, you will be after watching these films. I've been wanting to play nothing but the Robert Johnson tunes I know since this started up.

In my Poetry of Blues class (yes it seems out of the ordinary for school but it is part of the Rennaisance School For the Arts charter school I am in) We are checking out some of that. Can't wait. And while we are on the topic of the Blues. I need to know of a Memphis Blues artist. and some of the songs by that artist for my Poetry of Blues assignment due next tuesday. Thanks.

Well then, whatever you do, don't miss tonight's film. The title of it is "The Road to Memphis." It'll probably give you a couple of great leads.
