Guitar set-up

Unread post by Lexington Steele » Sat Sep 27, 2003 12:00 pm

I just got my guitar set up yesterday at Sam Ash. i love it. he filed down the bridge for me. It plays so much better now. I recommend it to anyone. It was 40 bucks and they set it up just how you want it.

I had my necks adjusted, and my bridges adjusted. My acoustic's neck, though, was twisted just a little too much. The high E doesn't sound the exact same anymore. I need that guild.

i got my mini guitar set-up and now it plays so beautifully. it cost like 40 dollars but since it was a new guitar (less than 6 months old) they gave me half price.

i get free setup for as long as i own my alvarez at the place i bought it, they recommend that i bring it in twice a year to do it for free. i usually have to buy new strings but if i time it right it works out perfect and your supposed to put on new strings when you setup anyway
