Iron and Wine

Unread post by Twostep13 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 1:25 pm

anyone heard of this guy? i guess its pretty much just him and his guitar, with his sister or wife or someone singing backup somtimes and a lead guitarist sometimes... its really calming music, good stuff to just chill to, or to lsiten to to relax... its pretty simple stuff to play, but good none the less... wonder if anyone else here is a fan

Yeah man, Iron and Wine (Sam Beam is his real name) is one of my favorite artists right now. Excellent music, right now I have both of his albums, and the Woman King EP and the EP he did with Calexico.

Why are you pointing him to a nearly year-old thread?

Probably to illustrate that this has been a topic of discussion and that a simple search would have yielded results. Just guessing.

Amazon.com has kept Iron and Wine's album in my little gold box for nearly 6 months now. I'm sure I would probably like it, but I refuse to buy it. It's a matter of principle at this point. :x

Do people get pissed off in real life when someone brings up a topic they've already covered?

*whistling*
"So, how about that concert the other day, that was really fun huh?"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP WE ALREADY went over this go search YOUR BRAIN!!"

Granted, we're on a message board and typing is more difficult and time consuming than speaking, but nontheless, Iron & Wine is barely covered in that thread.

I personally don't care one way or another. Like I said, I was just guessing. I didn't even look at the other thread. Search or not, it's all the same to me. I'm just saying.
