Smooth Rider: advice on way dave plays it on accoustic

hey wasup guys , i was watching a dvd from one of the early o5 summer tours show and i was noticing that the way dave play smooth rider on accoustic id def difrent from what the tabs say on here. anyone know that way , it looks like it easier, plus the tabs on here dont sound like smookth rider.
